HELLO THERE
Your Life is not Mundane.
Whether you recognize it or not, it is teeming with life and raw potentiality. Take it from me as I’ve experienced the wonders and thrills of the journey of life on study abroad and exciting trips, but have also racked my brain for how to enter into life as I believe it’s supposed to be, at my wit’s end in conflict with the seeming dead-end day-to-day I see before me.
The stories of our lives are not insignificant, and neither are those of our families. Our pages and the relationships we forge are full of anguish, exhilaration, sorrow, and pure, sweet joy. We enter into this world and they create us, then we in turn, turn to create them. What a wonder it is this conundrum of a container we call family that is beautiful, fragile, and at times you wanna kill it! I’ve sobbed in my mom’s arms, I’ve yelled at my father (we’re good now). We’ve gone to battle with each other, we’ve gone to battle for each other. They make me crazy, but they also come to save me.
How can you sum up the highs and lows of family life? How do you capture it and draw forth the mystery of the journey? At FLC it is my challenge to help you shed light on the wild glory of your messy and beautiful family and the adventure that is your life, from someone who’s lived it.

Howdy, I'm Cody!
It's so nice to meet you and I'm grateful you found your way here. I hope to get the chance to meet you in-person! How to begin to make an introduction? I have found I can't really explain myself apart from the many people and places that have left their mark on me. A wandering soul by nature, I have been fortunate to experience God's creation globally, spanning South America, Europe and Asia.
